What on earth are you doing to get heavy scratches on the screen in half an hour?

    Replacement of the screen.

And why do you remove the protector before you have it?

Also since it‘s glass you must have had the phone surounded by really hard metal (not something like keys, harder thinks in scale 6+).

They won't, sorry. You scratched your phone by no fault of OnePlus. If you really want to, you can get a screen replacement through their RMA service or by going to a local tech repair shop. It might cost you, though, since the screen is laminated to the glass. They'll need to replace the glass and the display panel.

Just apply your new screen protector. If you're using a plastic one, or a glass with adhesive in the whole glass, scratches will disappear.

What a brilliant idea which makes good business sense. Let's replace the screens for people who damage their own screens by their own fault for FREE!

I wish you luck in your attempt

My experience was different. Last November my son accidentally drop a toy (die cast toy bus) in the screen directly because he was reaching for it, i thought the screen was cracked but it was just the plastic screen, so i removed it just to check for further damage. everything is good. the screen been naked until last week. No scratches what so ever. So I am curious how did you scratch your screen?

Clear the cache and storage, if that doesn't work try a factory reset. Hope that helps. Plz let us know.

The glass will scratch at level 6 on the mohs scale, exactly the same as your s4. It has a scratch because you have albeit unknowingly, brought it into contact with an abrasive substance hard enough to scratch it. A tiny grain of sand or quartz is enough to do the damage.

I also had this phone like three days ago... I took the screen protector off just the day after and the scratches the screen is recieving is really serious... Have been wondering where the scratches is coming from. I hardly put in my pocket and the screen is always up. Just can't understand.
