If it really is a burn in then you can‘t see it on a screenshot. You would need to shoot a photo of the screen with another camera

    translation issue ( turkish )

"Ödeme alındı" translation for "Charged" is wrong, actually it means "Payment received" and it should be "Şarj oldu "

thankyou. but when we turn to vibrate mode won't it go silent automatically? each time do I have to turn on and off?

just tested on mine (9.0.11) and it goes automatically off whey you switch slider to "vibrate" or "silent" mode.

I use this phone more then 2 months till now and started with 9.0.6. SOT is all the time c.a. 7 hours with heavy use so nothing to complain. Every day I drive with Android Auto at least 1h (charge via car's USB port) so I used dash charger maybe 5 times during this period

I've been using my 6T McLaren for about 3 weeks now and I love it. The no LED thing sucks, but I love that I can move the phone to partially wake it and see the notifications. AOD on my Note 8 was nice, but it used so much battery I'm glad the 6T doesn't have it (because I'd want to use it! haha). For me, the battery is superb and blows away every previous phone I've ever used. I can realistically go two days without needing a charge. It's really a sleeper of a phone because the outside is so plain and unassuming, but the hardware/software combination makes it a powerhouse.

I think it is a burden for user to search and evaluate these options and also possibly putting their data at risk for installing and grant permission to untrusted app.
I think this is a rather basic feature that oneplus should in charge of solving.

If you never use ANY 3rd party apps, fine. But most people do. It's no burden and you can choose the one you like best. Pixel Pulse is better than any notification LED I've had in the past.

    A. I really doubt that "most" people know and are using these their party apps.
    B. These third-party app does not handle stuff like charging status and many more senerials.
    C. These apps are not that intuitive to use considering in many comments the reviewer say that they don't work.
    D. How can we guarantee that these app will continue to be well-maintained.
    E. There is privacy concerns with these apps, being able to read all the notifications is concrening. I buy a oneplus phone because I trust oneplus will not miss use my data, but a third-party app might.
    F. Most of these apps are not athletically pleasing.

I understand there needs to be an update to led light, it is ugly, it does not display enough information, and it takes up screen real-estate. But I don't think removing it completely is the way to go, since user really love this feature and this is one of the feature that keeps me using Android.

I think it is nice if oneplus can came up with their own take on this issue, just like samsung came up with edge lighting.
I am looking for something like skyline notification on oppo find 7. Just use software to display a gentle always-on lighting band on the bottom of the ambient display.

I think this is a really good selling point for couple reason
    1. It is much more pleasing than led notification.
    2. It can display more than one status of the phone (for example, when you are charging and receive a new notification, you can display more than one color to indicate both status)
    3. Bring back led notification light will be the focus for so many android phone. If oneplus can figure it out first, it will be a good selling point for oneplus.

I've tried NoLED and found that it used too much battery. I don't remember the exact % per hour, but it was almost as bad as the AOD on my Note 8. For me, the benefit isn't worth the cost in battery. What kind of battery usage are you seeing with Pixel Pulse?

Current battery at 47% and Pixel Pulse not showing as a user, so less than 1%.

I have a Note 8, and gave my wife my 3t. The 3t is still a champ on the OS, its speed and ease of functionality. The camera on the 3t still takes good photos, better than my Note 8 on night shots. I loved the 3t and my wife really likes it.

I got the 8 on a selection at best buy in November of 2017 and only had to pay $250 for it. There's no debating its quality in taking daytime photos, but at night, it can be a noisy mess that even the 3t doesn't have. Had I not gotten this phone, it would be likely I'd have the 6t now.

I don't care what anyone says about smartphones to be honest. Most people are about camera quality. No phone is worth $1000 just because it has a better camera, yet buy these expensive phones noticeably lacking in the overall quality of its specs and os. The other thing I will give the Note 8 are its menus and functionality. It's not as fast, but super easy to browse the system, even having a robust search for how to use the phone.

Oneplus should give us AOD because of the lack of led, don't know what they are waiting for
