    Hello,

I have a lot of problems with my Oneplus X, this is one of them:
My device randomly reboots itself no matter what I am doing. I don't have any 3rd party apps installed, I just updated to 2.1.2 and then did factory reset.

What is wrong with this phone???
I can't believe they sent me this useless device. I used the return ticket yesterday but no answer yet. This is just ridiculous.

Do you maybe know the procedure how to return it? I tried opening the ticket (with attached video), is there time limit for returning the device? If so I hope I get their answer soon. I read a lot about how complicated a simple return is...

It is a bit hard but don't worry I hope you'll be able to return it if you want , did you buy the phone from the official website or from a reseller? and you can return it within 15days after the day you got it .

just try to clear the cache from the recovery. That might solve many of your problem.

Did you buy your phone through Paypal? If yes, you can always open a dispute with this company. Just wait a week or so, and if there is no response, contact Paypal.

Thanks, havent thought of that... will do.

And I just wiped the data and cache. After that I entered my name in the "welcome window" and while doing that it rebooted again. I think it is broken...

There should be threads on this forum which teach how to fix random reboot.

Then RMA it. If OP does not respond within a week, open a Paypal dispute. When did you open a ticket?

3 stages of support... You will end up to RRR they will contact you and make some changes first from your pc via teamviewer. After the will replace your phone if you didn't damage it

Ok, I hope that happens as soon as possible, I did not cause any damage to the device, it's just out of a box.

To go to RRR it will pass at least one week. The best you can do is to contact now live support. Tell them exactly to skip some process. The RRR team reply a mail 24-48h... So it will take a will. At least half month maybe more.

I had support contact within 24 hours, then second level support 24 hours later to re-flash firmware. Eventually exhausted all options and RMA. Whole process took 4 days to get RMA auth. Phone currently on way to OP for exchange.

I called the phone number an hour after raising the ticket, don't know if it helped.

    My OPX kept locking randomly.

Yeah tried the live support yesterday, waited for 1 hour in the queue. When it was my turn the person on the other side did not receive messages or at least acted like it... And nothing happened. It is just ridiculous how much time and energy one must put in to achieve a simple thing... Ok I guess I will just wait for now... I will post here, how everything turned out.

xaaxaxaxaxaxaax my friend... i had worse issue than you. I sent my phone to the support to be replaced. Unfortunately they told me that i had a water damage.. The phone was working 100% only some yellow tints in the screen. I told them 3 weeks to send me back my phone. After one week i paid them. And now 1,5 week i don't have my phone, i don't know where is my phone... Their support sucks.. But for your kind of problem, because a friend has the same problem with one, in two weeks they sent them a new phone back
