Next time it happens, take a photo from another phone and post it here.
There will be a specific error mentioned.

I'm facing the same issue for the last 3 days. There is nothing I have done nothing to the phone - no physical damage or extensive usage. I'm an average user. I was on the call, suddenly the phone started a long continuous beep. I had to turn off the phone to stop the sound. After it restarted there is nothing I see other than QUALCOMM Crashdump mode. It feels it is programmed. As a company, it is shame if you are pushing such updates. I'm a student and cannot afford hefty repairs. After looking on the internet it has happened to many individuals, Oneplus should take responsibility for the issue and fix it.

i also got the same error and nothing can work now, If you see QUALCOMM CRASH DUMP MODE It means your phone is dead and there is only one solution that chnage the motherboard of the phone and that cost around 25k as said by the oneplus service centre.

Feels like there is no value for money. I will rather move to Apple. At the end of the day it costs so much, Firstly buying is costly, individual part repairs are costly, To my understanding I've spent above 1 lakh rupees to Oneplus.

    Oneplus
    Oneplus 3 + 3 screen replacement
    Oneplus 6 + 1 screen replacement
    +Accessories

all this for pathetic customer service.

Same with my oneplus 8t. In crash dump mode and useless now. I have decided I will never buy a Oneplus phone again in my life.
