    Hey forum members,
I received my OPO on monday and everythings fine
I live in Germany and right now here is it pretty cold and there is the problem:
When I´m outside for a longer time my touchscreen recognizes maybe 10% of my inputs
I figured out that´s related to the cold weather here, because inside I can use it without a problem. My previous phone (Galaxy S2) did´t had those issues as far as I remember.

Do you know if it is a software issue or maybe an issue with my touchscreen???

    Thx for reading

PS: I already tried to search the forum but I didn´t found an answer

My nexus 7 tablet does the same thing when I try to use it in cold temperature but so do most touch screen devices. This happens because the screen responds to the warm temperature of your fingers so when you are freezing it doesn’t really detect your fingers as fingers)

Think this is a common problem of capacitive touch screens ...

Yeah once your finger warms up again it can figure out that you're actually touching the screen. But there are gloves have the finger tips marked and you can still use them in the middle of the dead of winter and the digitizer will still pick up.

i bet your are skinny guy and your finger tips gets cold often. so touchscreen doesn't recognize your finger tips when they are at lower temp.

I always keep my imaginary Oneplus One nestled firmly between my buttocks. That way its never cold, a little stinky, but never cold!

I found something like that. That's what I was trying to describe. That would be an example of gloves that have the finger tips marked so it works with mobile devices.

I can't really believe that it is so cold in Germany that your 1+1 doesn't work. There must be something wrong with your device. I live in Norway and I've never had a problem using my Samsung Galaxy SIII (or any other cellphone) no matter how cold the weather is.
