NANIIIII , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Aug 11, 2021 : My whatsapp application is consuming more space of 15gb in the storage what is this?????
the_o2 , Aug 11, 2021 : Press and hold the WhatsApp, Click on app info Click on storage. And post the screenshot.
camohan , Aug 11, 2021 : Hi there, this are all the files that you have downloaded in whatsapp that is taking up the storage of 15GB. Mine takes up 35GB. Go to Whatsapp, tap on three dots on top right, Settings, Storage and data, Manage Storage and delete what you do not require. Also, go to Whatsapp, tap on three dots on top right, Settings, Storage and data, check Media auto download and toggle it to No media for all the options, so that whatsapp does not download on its own and fill up the storage. Cheers.
NANIIIII , via OnePlus 9 Pro , Aug 11, 2021 : I have media storage is just 500mb that's it .... there is no downloads from whatsapp also of consuming 15gb
the_o2 , Aug 11, 2021 : Install CX File Explorer app allow the permissions, and go to Android - Data and search for whatsapp folder and see how much storage it is taking. OnePlus file manager doesn't have the permission of viewing files in Android-Data
priyank_2707 , Aug 11, 2021 : If nothing works, would it be feasible for you to backup your WhatsApp data, then re-install WhatApp, restore data, and see the storage after that?
