Damn, even when I m only on wifi I struggle to get past 4 hours of sot. I have to admit that I play a lot of clash of clans on my OPT, but I didn't realised that it could have such an impact, I will try to stay away from games for a day or two and hopefully my sot is gonna go up...

Thanks a lot for all the detailed info you've given in this thread, I learned a lot!

Try dowclocking the GPU to 390Mhz to preserve battery while playing games.

Wow how can you get that much SOT, my phone max SOT is 5hrs :(

I wrote that it depends on how you use it. The phone is rate for doing an activity for 8-9 hours, so if you use it continuously this is what you would get.

If you are not using your phone on screen all the time (e.g. calls, standby, music) then you are effectively trading those extra hours of SOT for other activities.

If you still cannot get more when not playing as much you must have an app leaking battery. Follow the battery saving guide from xda (link posted above).

Proof of experience? Arguments? Early batch produced in August or not?

It is not helpful to post comments without any context information.

You have not convinced anyone...Try again. I have used 3 different units over a month and no headaches. As can be read in my review, the only thing worth criticizing is still the camera's video capabilities, sightly under-saturated display colors and lack of certain features that some may need. For the rest, it works as advertised, especially if you are using a unit produced in September or later and with final software.
