N10 5g - during a call it dials random contacts via OnePlus Nord N10 5G T-Mobile

  1. KMidge , via OnePlus Nord N10 5G T-Mobile , Apr 6, 2021 :
Is there an actual person to speak to about not being able to keep a phone call going without the phone randomly putting caller on hold or randomly dialing another person? This is a basic function tht should never be a problem. Noticed the provider of T-Mobile may be part of the issue. Anyone else have this same issue?

Can't say I have experienced this. Does it only happen when you put your phone to your ear?

I have this same problem. The accelerometer is used by the dialer and turns back on the screen even if you explicitly hit the power button to turn off the screen.

I just came up with a workaround. During a call find a way to minimize the call, like hitting the home button or changing apps. After that hit the power button. You'll still be able to manage the call from notifications.

I'm sorry I can't help you with this, I can't replicate it on mine, please also post it in the Support Area as you have a bigger chance to get answers there.

No one will directly help. Just keep getting pushed to other forums. Clearly an issue that isn't resolved

Like I said, I can't even replicate the problem, and it's no common problem apparently, do you have gestures on?

Why would gestures work while the screen is supposed to stay off, even during a call? I'm going to take a video of this happening.

Etapa 4: selecione "Limpar dados e cache"
Etapa 5: você terá três opções que indicam “Redefinir as configurações do sistema”, “Apagar tudo” e “Limpar cache”
    Etapa 6: selecione "Limpar cache"
    Etapa 7: Selecione “Sim”

Não irá apagar nenhum arquivo ou configurações, mas primeiro efetuer backup de dados

I also have this issue where it will randomly dial. It has to do with the proximity sensor and the screen turning on. For now I make sure to get off the ohone app while on a call and either go to home or anything but phone so it wont dial. While this doesn't hapoen to me every call, it does happen alot and is quite annoying. Moving to another application after answering or dialjng is the only solution I have come up with thus far. I did notice that if I mive the phone down a further bit more and push it a little more into my face it does not haooen. Play around with possitioning while on voicemail or skmething and you may find that sweet spot., In the meantime maybe this is skmethjng they will patch ir allow us to reconfigure. I know some phkne allow for reconfiguration.

One thing I would like to add. It seems that if I turn off Pocket Mode, it doesnt act up as much. I have played with pocket node kn and of and when it is off, it seems to be btter and actually not one face dial yet.
