    Hello Mates
    I am using OnePlus 3T with Android 7.1.1/OxygenOs 4.5.1
the Problem I am facing is I had a notification for Oreo update I even started it
but the download was manually cancelled by me on 23% as I had to finish some other works and leave Wifi.
Since then my system doesn't show the Oreo Update and system updates in settings says " your system is up to date " .

So can anyone help me to update my phone to OREO from Android 7.1.1 ( without unlocking bootloader ).

Oreo update had tons of bugs thats why Oneplus withdrew it. They are working on fixing the bugs and a new update should be launched in near future.

    1. You could install OxygenOS updater from playstore and try that
    2. You could download the update from Oneplus support download link and copy to root of your device and do a local update.
    3. You could try to delete previous partial downloads and try again.
    4. You could also wait for the next update ..... :)

I am pretty sure that both 2 posters in the beginning who replied, have not even tried Oreo as what they say is totally wrong.

The update is perfectly fine, I had it installed since day 1. Users who complain don't even know how to restart their device. A factory reset solves almost all problems.

Also the claim that the Update is not available is also nonsense.
It's at the official website ready for downloading:

Why would they mail users to say they screwed something up with the update? Nobody does that. They have silently pulled it back because of complaints and high battery drain problems and other bugs. They're not gonna tell users separately about it.

Do me a favor, please post your battery consumption screenshot here. I would like to see what is the Cell Standby battery percentage of your phone.

You are not having any problem does not mean anyone else isn't having them. You are the kind of President who denies global warming because his backyard got 1 inch snow last night.

Do me a favor and stop writing posts based on 0 arguments.

There is no official statement that the update is redrawn because of bugs or other fantasy excuse.
The emails of customer support are NOT official replies by the company.

Finally, there are dozen of users posting that they have no issues at all. Why these are fanboys and are wrong and the complaining boys are right?

And it's obvious that you made no research on the matter.
The cell standby doesn't mean anything. It's posted in different forums that this is not something that actual drains the battery.
Better to start reading around mate.

HA! wishful thinking! like oneplus will come up with an official statement saying "Hey we messed up, sorry".
No company will ever do that due to fear of bad publicity. They will only officially announce such things when the problem is ultra-severe, like the exploding battery in Galaxy note 7.

No, they don't. I haven't received a single mail regarding any updates.
For most of the 5.0 users, this holds to be true (the update was bad). The OTA previously released by OnePlus was quite buggy apart from the 5.0 genuine problems, hopefully they will patch it up all. (open beta 19 has fixed some of the problems of open beta 18/5.0 build)

Guys stop complaining and have a factory reset.
Most users had their first problems fixed.

I like how your response to everything is factory reset. I've owned quite a few phones, and this is the first where the solution to everything seems to be factory reset.
Some owners like to receive bug-free updates, thank you.
And just because you don't have problems, doesnt mean its the same for everyone else.
