The temporary unlock is free and you don't have to buy the device outright.

Once my device is unlocked, will it give me the option to unlock the bootloader?

I don't see how to make it work. I have the developer active but won't allow the OEM

Don't let the service rep tell you it can't be done. Force the issue or escalate to a high rep.

I was under the impression that the unlocked software can't just be flashed on the TMobile version

Are you saying this will ruin our devices? Why do you think that?

You have to do a permanent sim unlock on you TMobile 6T to be able to access oem unlock. after that you have to request an unlock token through OnePlus to unlock your bootloader. after that it's still not guaranteed that the international rom can be flashed on the TMobile variant. you don't want a brick. and rushing in and not being patient is going to ruin alot of phones.
there are instructions to unlocking step by step for the TMobile 6t you just have to search and people need to stop spreading false information.

Oh ok, I see. So I should wait a bit and see if other people can do it before I try?

there's a few devs that have the TMobile 6t and one that has received his unlock code from OnePlus already. They are going to see what can be done. it may be a week or so before we know what can or can't be done. everyone needs to be patient and wait if they have the TMobile 6t. I'm waiting for my unlock code and should have it Saturday or Sunday and I told the devs I'm more than willing to test for them.
please don't rush into any flashing till we know what we can do with this device.

Thanks for telling us that. I completely forgot the risks of doing something that hasn't been done yet and I definitely don't want to brick this brand new device.

chatted with a OnePlus support guy and he said the same things like this may brick the device even though the ROM is from OnePlus. he also confirmed one more thing that they are the ones supposed to release the update for TMobile version too.
