bro every OnePlus 8 pro has a problem. how to check it
step 1: download night mode from play store
step 2: start nightmode at low level
step 3: download display tester or go in any grey background like chrome incognito mode tab
You will clearly see display issues and also
step 4: check black background in display tester with night mode on which we downloaded from play store you can see both corners of display also have issues. please OnePlus do something otherwise I will claim an official way

    Done.
Nothing wrong here and my eyesight is very good.
I'm also not sure that using an unofficial third party app to prove your point will make much impression.

Please send us a picture, I know you have perfectly working device

    Test :
    1598578410859.jpg
Use the above image as a gray subject and go to a dark room and slowly adjust the brightness level from high to low few times

If you didn't find any issue then you are the chosen few who have received well calibrated display congratulations and u can live in peace [e]1f64c[/e] . kindly also if possible post a picture( not screen shot but image taken from other devices) of it around 30% brightness will help us.

Below link will take you to my google drive with a video of the issue kindly have look, if you find there is a problem then kindly help us figure out a solution. ( Because One plus is claiming it's a software issue and I wonder how would they send a patch to only effected device, The fix might help affected device, but might also ruine your perfectly calibrated display and have issues like ours)

Thanks for clarifying your process to show the problem.
I tried it exactly as you described in a pitch-black dark room and this is what I observed:
    1. I see (naked eye) a little jump in brightness round the position where you film the colour shift but NO colour shift. Grey remains grey. When I say 'jump in brightness', I mean a reverse to slightly darker and back brighter WHILE moving the slider slowly left to right (only).
    2. While filming it, I see quite a lot of banding on the screen of the filming phone and a VERY slight colour shift.
    3. When watching the recorded movie I DO see the exact colour shift that shows in your movie.
As I never see a colour shift with the naked eye... I have no problem to report. The color shift is ONLY visible in a movie that I make of my phone under these specific circumstances.
Hope this is of assistance to help to solve the problem.

I guess there is an discrepancy in display quality control or in display calibration in India due to COVID situation. The video (refered as movie) was take in auto exposure which always tries to reduce or varies when taking video. The photo shared in the link is true to what I see.

Well you have received a good calibration display. Enjoy.

And thank you for taking much trouble.

Mean while trying to contact local one plus exclusive service center here. Hope One plus team acknowledge the issue come clean about it with full transparency. Before some one gose for a class A action or lowsuit.

Well I forgot: I let you be the judge of the movie that I took. In my opinion it has also less colour shift than yours.

Well thank you so much and much appreciated, your device have far better screen uniformity compared to mine.

I have contacted to local Oneplus services center hope they acknowledge this issue and give a replacement.

And I was reading a post about one plus 8pro display manufactured by samsung it's a new display technology and chanses of having 3 to 4 non uniform display out of 10

    https://www.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro-display-analysis-premium-hardware-at-a-cost/

Hope the replacement unit doesn't have the same issue [e]1f613[/e] if they are willing to replace in first place.

I've tried every test you listed and more...I don't have the issues at all. I'ts a hardware issue. If it were software we would all have the issue. I'd look into a class action lawsuit. Include the 5MP color filter camera we all paid for that is disabled as well.
