Hi! Is this problem only in Pro version? Mine is a non pro version, and the problem I see is the flickering of the display when I'm scrolling through Google search app.

I believe the developer previews don't have all of the screen tweaks in them. I had no issue before I went to dp4. Turn on dc dimming to get rid of it

Stop making up stuff there is no way that 80% of us have that issue. Mine doesn't not do the other 2 in my household.

Please search "display issue" or "Oneplus 8 pro display issue" in the one plus community forum.

You do know people who have the issue will complain about it compared to people who don't have any issue with there display that's why I don't think it's possible for 80% of the user having it

I have no idea they are also not ready to service or give replacement for the product. I bought OnePlus 8 on June 1st week and after that there was lockdown , they are telling returns within 15 days will be accepted (purchased offline). How can I go to Service center on lockdown when it will be closed.

I have tried my best to capture this using my iPhone 11 Pro Max in a dark room with zero brightness. The second photo was taken with 3sec exposure hence it is bright and colour shift in the camera and not the display. It was like the first one.

I am not sure if this qualifies as colour shift. I run Android 11 Beta.

For me the problem is with its cameras beautifying faces and softening the Image Quality. I don't remember seeing this effect in the earlier version. Too much processing and your hair & mush look water coloured.

I have tried this dark image s background, went into a dark room in the night, adjusted the display brightness few times, at the time of scrolling there seems to be some variation but once you fix the brightness level to a desired low level, I only see gray or black as in this post. I use adaptive brightness, use Android 11 Beta, 8 Pro 12 GB.

Selfi and main camera issues I have reported to OP. When it involves human subjects, even with good light (day or night) it softens the image for beautifying the skin in that it over processing your hair....like water coloured. Very annoying! It was not there in Android 10 if I remember correctly

As soon as I bought this phone the place went through 2 weeks lock down, but the service centre claims that replacement policy is for only 15 days. I don't know how I am supposed to replace when the whole city and the service centre itself under lock down.. 🤷🏻
They told me to wait for software update or will do only screen replacement.. 🤷🏻
