Netflix pays OnePlus to install their app as a system app (cannot be uninstalled without root). I'm happy they didn't do the same for wretched Facebook.

I don't want to just disable it. I want it off my phone completely.

So it's a money making thing? There's absolutely no concern as to whether their users wish to have these apps pre-installed onto their phones. That's pretty inconsiderate. I would at least think that you can ask your users. Do a survey. That's known as good marketing strategy where I'm from.

    Better than that OnePlus.

Compared to other brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, and others, OnePlus is way better when it comes to bundling unwanted stuff. That said, I agree they shouldn't force stuff onto their users.

No need for any survey. They know pretty well how much we dislike bloatware and forced (and uninstallable) apps and features. Yet they have made a compromise, which at the moment is still within acceptable levels.

It may be an acceptable level for them or maybe even for you. But the fact that it's there...on MY phone, not theirs or yours, is unacceptable for me.

Sadly no. It's a little bit ironic that OnePlus asks us not to settle but they themselves wants us to settle for having an app that we don't want, can't uninstall on OUR mobile.

Yes Man. Unfortunately, you can't uninstall the app. If you may, ahead it will appear as update from Google play store.

I recommend you just ignore its existence...
    Better for us.

I hope to have helped you.

    Have a nice weekend!
