Stop saying that, AMOLED will be better when they solve its issues, since it is having issues now and since IPS is a mature and better in much aspects technology, right now AMOLED is not the best solution.

Nope. Here s the thing.Shitsung produces two flagship phones unlike other manufacturers. The galaxy S Series and The note series. If you say Galaxy S series is mid range ,then the GS 6 should b a mid ranged phone ,lol.

Dude, what do you expect. I mean for that price you can't really expect a phone that can compete specs wise with top phones released today. It is already 1year old and taking into account that 1 year is an eternity in smartphone business. And the never settle thing: We still get updates (Cm12S will come, in heaven I believe) and they also released their own rom and it is JUST A STARTUP Company. Guys, like you make me sick. How can you expect an overlord phone for the price of 300 bucks -.- *facepalm

I traded my S5 for this OPO. I love this device and will stick with it. I usually switch phones every couple months but for once I'm happy with a device.

Lucky yes, the quality control may have improved, the rubbished that they were putting in the device initially may not be so common place as it was.
One thing for sure despite the band and touch issues, the device is far too flakyfor me, then I suppose you only get what you pay for and this game $349 shouldn't get you much.

    Ok. There is the door.

And take your hate with you.

Somewhere you are right. But for people like me, with low expectations this phone is perfect.

Not many phones have a 3GB Ram. To top it off... The new phones out now are just starting the 3GB Ram and 4K videos. OPO already did that.. Last year. It is ahead of the game while others play catch up.. Like crapple :p

That's not really true anymore, at least not since the Galaxy s5 was announced.

The galaxy s5, note 4 and galaxy s6 have all won the best display awards and that's mainly due to their accurate colour reproduction.

Most companies only use IPS because it's cheaper and they know Samsung will only sell them their last gen displays and keep the best for themselves.

I've had Note 3. It is overpriced garbage. And i like the screen on OPO way more than AMOLED.
For the price of Note 4 i can buy two OPOs and still have money for beer with guys.
So OPO is flagship killer for me.

I was a samsung fan myself, and loved amoled for viewing photos, so my first impression was exactly the one you describe. But as time went by and get used to ips and cm way, i swear i would not go back neither to amoled nor to samsung. As far as colors are implied op screen is less spectacular but far more realistic
