    Hey everyone,

After careful testing and verification, we're releasing a new Developer Preview for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. This new version is a hotfix build that fixes the issue that caused the original version to get stuck during Factory Reset Protection (FRP) check.

We are very excited to announce the first Android 12 Beta as part of the Developer Preview Program for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. By providing access to Android 12 at an early stage, we enable app developers and other early adopters in our community to start creating even better software experiences. For more information, please refer to
    https://www.oneplus.com/os/developer-preview/android12

As the name suggests, this build of Android 12 is best suited for developers and other advanced users, as it is still in an early stage of development. That said, we do not recommend flashing this ROM if you have little to no experience in software development, if you expect to use the device as a daily driver, or if you have no experience flashing custom ROMs. Proceed at your own RISK!

    Known Issues
    • All data will be cleared while flashing the build
    • Video call function is not available
    • Fingerprint unlock and face unlock are unavailable
    • Certain UI screens look less than desirable
    • Some apps may not function as expected
    • System stability issues
    • Probability of camera crash when HDR mode enabled.
    Caution!
You should understand there is a risk of BRICKING your phone, read the instructions carefully and be 100% sure of what you are doing. Please always backup your important data before flashing.

    Please note:
    1. These instructions are only for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum 3GB of storage space is available.
    2. Carrier version devices (TMO/VZW) aren't compatible with the Developer Preview builds.

This is an early Android 12 build to give developers an early chance to test their apps with an upcoming Android version. As such, its main purpose is not to collect bugs. If you want to provide feedback about any bugs you face with this build, you can use the official built-in feedback tool by Google.

Still, your feedback is appreciated. We may not always be able to respond to every comment in the forums, but please be assured that we take your comments and feedback seriously. Hope you enjoy and let us know how you feel about the update in the comments below.

Can you read above comment i posted. As of now new build has arrived just now. None has tested it out yet as per comments. Its first developer preview, it may have issues and may not be suitable to dd. Its just for testing purpose. Try it on your own risk. If your device is a primary one i recommend you to wait till dp3 or open beta.

Won't be joining this time around, the other times i noticed that nothing really happens when you report a bug...bugs you report on a model somehow still end up i the next model etc.
