I have one that has a hand full of apps in the folder... and now I have to scroll the folder to get to the app instead of seeing them all in one bubble!

It's really your choice to make. I personally am considering downgrading until the next update comes. Just to see if they do anything about this.

    +1 hate the new update
I had organised all my apps into folders and all that was a waste of time

Praying for them to see this and release another update giving us options to change between the suggested options. It also takes longer for it to open up the folder itself. The general usability and OnePlus feel is gone - it feels more like other...devices

Hi. There's no way to cancel an update, but I've found previous APK files:

    net.oneplus.launcher_2.1.5.170814160054.fac9071-2000000000_minAPI24(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk

    net.oneplus.launcher_2.1.1.170814160820.6bee435-101_minAPI24(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk

    net.oneplus.launcher_2.1.0.170622150418.387136f-2000000000_minAPI24(nodpi)_apkmirror.com.apk

    • Do you know witch one is the previous version ?

    • If I uninstall Oneplus launcher and reinstall the previous version, will I loose all my icons and folder settings ?

    Thanks

i dont like this new feature where the folder icon shows very tiny app icons on the homepage.it is difficult to make out what that particular folder is for
also you have to now open the folder and then scroll inside..
i want a way back to previous functionality

Yes - couldn't agree more with the original post. The new folder behaviour feels like a step backwards in terms of look and feel. Would be great to have an option to select how the folder behaves when opened.

People, for more "classic" behavior, I installed the Google Now Launcher from Play Store... Feeling better already.

OnePlus (or rather Google), you can add my name to the list of haters. I don't actually mind what happens when you open a folder, but it's the appearance of the mini icons that I hate so much. I was more than a little surprised when the appearance changed because I only allow updates to be made manually on my 5, and wondered how it happened.

I personally don't want to downgrade since it defeats the point for me. I feel that eventually I will have no choice but to upgrade back again once they release some updates with some features I want.
From my perspective, it is OnePlus' responsibility to listen to its' customers and release a compromise (like a toggle feature between the old & new behaviors).
So o haven't actually checked what the previous version is.

But I do see where you are coming from.
I did see somewhere here on the forums a link to the previous version, but can't seem to find it.
Between the ones you show, the top one is the newest. If you notice, the version number is in the name file, and the top one is higher than the rest.
I don't know if that means that it's the last version, but I hope this gives you a tool to help search for the latest before the current version :)

    Good luck
