seems to be the issue with all the updated Google apps, still got the old photos and maps icons. Previously cleared cache on the launcher, restarted as suggested on another post, just ended up spending a ton of time setting up my phone to how it was before, get updated icons on my tablet running Android 9, so obviously a OnePlus issue that they need to sort, but seeing that they only appear to be fixing things for the new phones, wouldn't hold out any hope

I have the latest OP8T and I have the same issue with calendar app, no one seems to have a fix, it seemed to be an app problem because I don't think oneplus has control of the icons of any app which is old or may come in future.
If it's OnePlus problem then they sure will notice and provide a fix, I'm waiting on that too

Maybe an icon pack that is overwriting the bew original one with the 'old' one from the pack?

On a phone, it's much faster for me to identify apps by the color of their icon. I hate that all Google icons are turning into a mix of red/green/blue/yellow on a white background MyAARPMedicare

I use Appstract (dark) icons now but when I used OnePlus icon pack I had this issue with many apps. Uninstall the OnePlus icon pack and reinstall it. It's dumb and tedious but that's how I fixed it.
