I must say that they work so much faster this time with giving out invites for the OPT and it's much easier to get one aswell, compared to OPO (I guess, I had luck and won one from their facebook competition!).
This reservationlist is a really good thing imo, cause now you don't need to know someone else, that knows someone else and so on to get invited. I just woke up to an email with my code for the OPT and I signed up for the list the day after it came out. My internet was shit when it came out and I had to sign up the day after, so I tought GG I won't have it this year, but now I will
I hope you get your invite soon aswell if you haven't already!
EDIT: I got some info I didn't had before I posted this post. Apparantly there's more ways to get an invite (which I knew before, but not really how it worked)
So I learned that there's different tiers:
- Tier 1: Participants or winners of OnePlus events (WWYDFT2, pop-up events, etc.)
- Tier 2: Early supporters of the OnePlus One and active forum members
- Tier 3: Customers who have purchased the OnePlus One
- Tier 4: Reservation List
and
- When the OnePlus One was purchased
- The amount of OnePlus Ones purchased
- The date they joined the OnePlus forums
- Amount of forum posts that have great engagement and quality
(you can read more here https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/logic-of-invites-roll-out-explained.344725/)
I actually belong to tier 3 and maybe 2 aswell. I've got 2 OPO since earlier (or actually 3, since I won one aswell), bought them in october 2014. I also became a member around that time or september.
So I actually didn't get the invite through the reservationlist that I thought, since I'm still in the list around 50k! So maybe the list isn't so good that I thought?
Oh well, I hope it will be, maybe they send out invites soon again, so BEST LUCK to everyone!
