You're talking about data from deleted apps and space being occupied after a hard reset. Did i say even once that you were wrong? I myself had 3.5 gb after the reset.
But if you have read the other threads then you'd know that it can't be done. Also, OnePlus employees don't read the threads.. not most of them.
Btw, did you see the screenshot posted above by @SimonRam?

Since so much of your phones space is full, it is mostly normal data, app data, downloads, cache that isnt caounted in the cache partition. If i were you i would not worry.

He doesn't have f2fs. But look at his apps, see how much space they're taking up. I have only about 4.5 gb in apps. Maybe it's just showing the app's data in a different place.
Now, before you say that it takes up data even after a reset, the preinstalled apps do take up space, all the Google apps, apps by OnePlus.

Updating and then hard-reset. Hard-reset formats your storage to f2fs.
And i have op3, but there's an op3t as well in my home.

Get your facts checked then. I didn't have f2fs even after the nougat update till i reset it about a week later. Also, good luck with your quest for a 'solution'. Not gonna find it with that attitude.

Yeah. Also, like someone said above, OnePlus know about this and they're working on it, so you can just wait. There's pretty much nothing you can do about it right now.
