Hello, as many of us know that 8 pro is suffering from display issues. Can anyone please confirm that the newly manufactured 8 pro's displays are better than before? (Black bar, tint and crush, retention free displays). I am concerned because One plus 8 pro is an incredible device and most of us want to buy it again after returning it, we are just afraid of facing display issues again.

It's better to spend your money on something that is not broken and be carefree, instead of making the same mistake and going through all the customer care calls to get a refund. 😊

If you didn't like the answer, then I would give you a direct one... NO, new displays aren't better, mentioned issues aren't fixed.

As suggested above, wait for 8T series.

One of the guy I know has got his 4th replacement, and that is also a a faulty one. Better option would be to go with just 8 or as suggested above wait for 8T.

I ordered my OnePlus 8 Pro on April 23rd, and it arrived only a few days later.
I have none of the display issues that are being mentioned on these forums.
I don't have any noticeable black crush, colour tint or image rentention/black bar issues.
In fact, I find the screen to be outstanding.
So make of that what you will.

With how greedy OnePlus is, I highly doubt they’ll skip the T series.

It'll get released for sure, the only question is soc. Waiting for the Rog 3 presentation to find out, whether 865+ is real. If it really is, then distinctions are already known: 865+, 65W charging and hopefully fixed damn display.

    1. I made a wild guess by my observations on OP forum posts.

    2. Both of your units may be in that remaining 20%.

    3. Your units may also be having the issues but you may not have seen it.

    4. If you haven't noticed any issues yet don't go looking for it.[e]1f602[/e]
