Was going to get nexus 6 but when it ESS announce it was way out of my price range and wasn't going to feed Motorola my money so after a failed attempt on bidding on a z2 i decided to give opo another try. ( i away teo invite before )i came back to the opo forum which I've been a member since April and ask for invite and fire off the purchase. As for yellow banding problem that's a super easy fix either take it to a nail salon or a tanning booth and leave it in the uv light for 15 to 20min problem solve. I would say go wwjt what's in your budget and what you will get the most use out of . keep in mind the nexus 5 has half the storage and specs are underwelming compared to the opo

try looking from long term point. I have received OPO this weekend and got very impressed. I had a chance to play with S5 and after gaining first impressions I would recommend OPO considering the value you get for the money.

Lol, not really sure what the expectations were when posting on the oneplus forums where many avid fans and supporters of the phone are... I think OP already knew what OP wanted before OP posted ;)

I have had a Nexus 5 for about a year now, it's aged well and is working great with the latest update to L. It accidentally had an entire drink poured onto it in a restaurant recently by a clumsy & apologetic server. So much liquid that it lifted the phone off of the table and it began to float...The phone is still going strong, no serious issues to report. It's a great device. I had also planned an upgrade to the Nexus 6, though the pricing is a bit much. I just won't pay that for a phone. The OPO seems like the next logical step for me, more for the money, and great specs.

I debated this myself but seeing that the phone is $750 and is way over my budget of $500 I just went with the OPO.

I guess if you have the money go with the nexus

No, the Nexus 6 is better than the Nexus 5, but its just too costly coming in around $700. Nexus 5 cost = OPO cost. I was actually going to buy the Nexus 5 and then a friend of mine gave me an invite, so I went with the OPO. No regrets. I was only going for the Nexus 5 because I didn't wanna hassle people for an invite, but one fell into my lap so to speak, so I went for it. Go with the OPO if you can wait it out.

Nexus 6 would have been a great phone without the QHD battery and performance drainer. If you want to enjoy decent performance for a decent price, go for OPO. Actually I thought of buying the N6 for myself once, but I got repelled by the abysmal battery life(based on reviews) of the nexus 6. OPO works out great.

If money is no object, I'd wait a couple weeks, after the 1st batch headaches get worked out, then get the Nexus6. If money is important to you, get the One. Even though the specs now aren't considered "flagship"...that is if you pay attention to benchmarks and not real world performance, the OnePlus is still an exceptional value, "bang for your buck". I was surprised how well my Mate2 does, in real world performance. Yeah, in benchmarks, it is "slow" when compared to the OnePlus, but, for my day to day use, it's very fast and responsive.
