I tried to take night pictures but there is no light whatsoever ( tried to take pictures of the sky stars are completely visible) but only way to see what I captured is in a dark room and the brightness is high. Any suggestions?

you have completely right...but to take night Scape or scenes need to roll on some specific settings on promode. I feel now you maybe ask about the cam app has a night Scape mode..correct but good shots need a little effort.

I used the night scape but maybe there are other tweaks I didn't do to capture the image at full potential

would it work on the sky? I know the picture "looks" black but if you make the brightness higher and the room is dark you'll see what I was trying to capture.

do you have Pro mode or not? Or it is not on work? I use OnePlus6 and I have Pro mode...but with the new updates WB is out of work. Therefore I use an old cam app version it is 3.0.43..

Pro mode is manual setting option to adjust WB white balance which is the warm value of the light compared to white colour, shutter is the speed of instantaneous which it provides to open and close of catching mechanism, iso is the speed of film which it functions to provide light efficiency. Exposure is longevity of catch or shot...you have to adjust and check on the screen on time.

I used 30 secs, furthest focus, 3200 iso with a tripod and remote.

My rule of thumb is to set 5 secs, iso 3200, if it looks bad set time to 10 secs and iso to 1600, ideally you want 30 secs and lowest iso possible to reduce noise. The issue with that is that if you don't have a stable surface and remote, you'll get blur.
    Best of luck to you!
I'd upload more photos but I have 1000's and I'd have to scroll through them. Maybe I'll give and imgur link.

Also I forgot to mention that you will want to use Pro Mode. Night mode is terrible compared to what you can do with Pro Mode. If you wanna see fast results, set shutter speed to 30 seconds and ISO to 3200. It will most likely look terrible, but then you can lower the settings (lower shutter speed if it's blurry, if it's grainy lower ISO).
