    MaxCadillac , Nov 30, 2014 :
Got my OPO last Monday, the 24th. Ordered my screen protecter and case that arrived two days later. Last night, the phone slipped off the arm of the recliner and hit the floor. It was maybe 2 feet to a wood floor WITH the case on. Now it's cracked in the corner, the touch pad doesn't accept inputs, and I leave tomorrow out of country with a brick.

So then people, I have the following to prepare for and tell you:

1st off: Tudia cases, as great as they look, are 'teh suck'. It's these cases:

    Tudia Slim Fit

You really (probably) need hard corners to sustain a 2 FOOT DROP (@#%^%$!!!)

2nd off: The OPO is a delicate thing. I probably need something more able to sustain the usual wear and tear associated with my life. You know, LIKE THE PHONE FALLING FROM 2 FEET AND BREAKING. Hellfire!

3rd off: I'm really praying that OnePlus Support earns my +1 with an RMA, repair request, whatever.

I can't believe this happened. Really sucks.

Sorry to hear this ... Has happened to others ..... Somebody quoted cracking a screen on a nexus while putting on a screen protector. Seems to be bad luck in how it hit the floor as others survived a much higher drop

So the Tudia Ultra-Tight strikes again. Gotta remember to add," Has the be struck at just the correct angle to do it's job", to it's features list.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. I currently have the same case on mine. Guess I may switch back to my Diztronic, however they seem rather similar as far as protection goes.

doesn't the tudia offer a bit more protection than the diztronic? i think you should stay on the tudia, op was just incredibly unlucky.

The horror stories I read about this phone being dropped, I wish Ballistic or OtterBox would consider making a case for it. @MaxCadillac's misfortune has me poking and tapping the corners of my Tudia....

[IMG]You may be correct. Maybe I will order the Diztronic Ultra. The corners of the new version seem to be beefed up.
