cdnfarmer , Feb 1, 2021 : HI There, This seems odd how the images turn out. There are parts of the pictures that turn out as expected but there seems to be a dark square area. Is the lens ok? Are there any scratches or smudges? (I don't think that it the likely cause but let's get the obvious questions answered first). Are you taking the picture through a window ? It almost looks like there is a bright light (could be from nightscape) on the curtain... I'm wondering if it is picking up the phone (2nd picture, shape looks like the size of a phone). These are some thoughts. I tried to reproduce the issue on Android 10 and Nord, but can't. I'll see if a friend can try with the 8T and let you know asap. what is your camera version? In the meantime, what are the conditions in which you took the picture (indoor, with or without light, or outdoor etc.)? Do you have any issues with pictures taken during the day with regular light?

cdnfarmer , Feb 1, 2021 : hmm. Ok. thanks for the quick reply. I just saw another report of something similar. @Gav_W86 it looks like something similar to your case https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/one-plus-8t-camera-issue.1384942/ seems to occurs in dark setting with and without Nightscape... I have a thought (but not too sure) so I'll ask some photo group members to see.
