    Maybe they didn't whitelist all the OP3 models (A3001, 2, 3). I have A3003. Anyone with A3003 with unrooted stock working 60fps?

A3003 Europe version here, 60fps not working.

Maybe its variant specific? If thats case, then ewww we must raise this to OnePlus so they can see it and take care of it asap.

I mean... like, its important its big app used worldwide almost, why it isnt fixed? Sounds wierd to me.

Yes, I have an unrooted stock A3003 in the UK with working 60fps.

I'm inclined to think this issue is somehow linked to individual Google accounts rather than an issue with the OP3 or device whitelisting.

Has NOTHING to do with google accounts.

Because hey, you can watch in all resolutions without signing in, right? ;)

True, it now also works for me when logged out. But I've seen other users that have fixed it by setting up a new Google account, only to have the problem reappear when logging back into their old account.

You need to try a 60fps video.
For example search smokey mountain 60fps.its a Rollercoaster video in 60fps and I am sure you will only be able to watch it in 480p...

Damn, i really but really want a fix to it, want to watch HD cuz 480p sucks on most of the videos i watch.

Type in "1080p 60fps" and open one of the videos listed there and see it, if it says 480p then it means you have same problem with us too.

I'm my case it doesn't work at all, signed into my original or new accounts, or signed out. Very strange.

I have found a solution that does not require root. It requires you to enable the onscreen navigation bar and resetting the YouTube app to its factory settings, disabling the app, force stopping it and deleting the application data. After this enable the app and the option should come up for 60fps for supported videos. See the quick video I made:

    EDIT:
This issue has been fixed officially.
