Trickydd , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Apr 25, 2020 : When going to display settings, in "advanced" you can choose "Apps to display in fullscreen". Inside those settings I don't have the option to choose any apps at all that I want to display in full screen. Is there a trick? Or why can't I see some apps that clearly cut of the top part with the camera. For example, I have two games (TFT, Pokemon Go) that I'm trying to force full screen on.

G_Lisa_Goldbaum_AZyw , May 3, 2020 : This may be a dealbreaker for me honestly. What's the point of a big beautiful display and punch hole camera if every app has the big black bar at the top? The Galaxy s20 doesn't have this problem, every app can be run in full screen mode

mojoyoyo77 , Jun 26, 2020 : That is a solution, but when unlocking the bootloader, in order to install Magist Widevine L1 is lost, if you do this you will be able to see full screen but with L3. IWantSunshine , Jul 24, 2020 : Same here with my OnePlus 7. This used to work, but somewhere along the way it broke. I have 115 apps on my phone, none of them show up here in the "Apps to display in fullscreen" options - it's completely empty, it even says "No apps". Restarting the phone doesn't help. Bug reported today.
tetdeepak , Aug 18, 2020 : Same here i spend at least 5 hours a day on Netflix and every video has a black bar on the left... im a fan of one plus but now i think they do not know how to provide flagship experience. I also have problems with my ear phones i always have to turn on OTG to use them.
