exactly the input we need, thx :p

When this bug was in the system the last time, how long did it take OP to fix it? I assume it will be earliest with be next security update? 1-2 Months?

Same problem here. 2015 BMW. Works fine with my wife's samsung. The fact that OP fixed this once and then broke it again makes me think they aren't aware of this issue, or at least they don't know what causes it, and that the breaking/fixing is just an accidental side effect of other changes.

I do a lot of driving and this is big issue for me. I'll be forced to get a new phone if it doesn't get sorted :-(

well, either that, or they accidantelly reverted the fix in the new version... also had this happen in one or two of my projects, but our development at least could apply the fix quite fast again... guess that might not be as easy with the software of a phone...

anybody with a Toyota recent model (2015, 2016) have positive or negative experience to report? on my 2015 Highlander the audio and phone work but media metadata are not transmitted to the car head unit screen in 4.1.6. was about to update you 4.1.7 in hopes of a fix until I came to this cautionary thread.

I have the same problem, no audio with bluetooth in the car (BMW 430, 2017) and no audio with AUX connected to USB in telephone (3T). All this worked before upgrade to 4.1.7.

I have this issue too with my BMW
My phone pairs with the car, but audio won't stream (like Spotify). This was an issue before, but one of the previous Oxygen updates fixed it, shame we have gone back again to this issue with the latest update.

I have tried the fixes suggested (pairing again, reset, selecting audio media) but no luck.

I have seen the same thread coming up again and again on this forum. Seems to affect BMW, Audi and Honda more than other cars. Also someone complained that they had a similar issue with a JBL speaker too.

    Please fix this OP!

Unpair the device from the car and delete the pairing on the phone as well.

Turn off the phone and turn on again. Pair as a new device with the car.
