No Bluetooth audio in BMW since update Aug 26, 2017

    Exactly same issue. Updated BMW to latest Bluetooth update (by dealer). Got latest oneplus 3T 4.5.1 update ... no success. Only difference is that you can change the songs now from the car, but still no sound whatever you do. Is there some sort of hack or custom fix for the "media profile". What if you install aptx? Would that make a difference?

    Installed 4.5.1. Now I can connect to my TDK Trex, but to the car doesn't work. Now I can't even see the song I'm trying to play anymore. Paranoid Android will be my next move...

    Confirmed! A change to Paranoid Android solved the problem, so it's definitly Oxygen OS that is the bad guy here! Now my audio is working like a charm again!

    Confirm, 4.5.1 update has not fixed this problem. BMW X3 2016 with updated software and an OP3. That's two minor releases with a blocker bug not being addressed.

    Finally!
    I resolved by doing manual update of OP3T to android 8. Google oneplus 3t beta update and you will get a oneplus official page with many oxygen OS downloads including ones not available OTA yet.
    I selected the latest build from a few days ago and proceeded with the update instructions. They don't tell you much about how to prepare ADB sideload on the computer side of things, but you tube is your friend for that!
    Once sideload android 8.0 latest oxygen version, all my apps photos phone settings are intact. Some apps require you to login again such as Spotify. But now my Bluetooth audio integration in the car is working exactly like my wife's iPhone! Finally going to enjoy driving the car much more than digital radio!

    Two BMWs (F20 and F46) here and Oneplus 3 & Oneplus 3T. Lost Media streaming ability on both devices/cars, works with other devices. Are you kidding me Oneplus? That error was present in January already and got fixed, now you managed to re-introduce it? How about a hotfix??

    I also tested it on my Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and others. It is working fine. :)

    Issue here since last update. I can connect and play audio. However i cannot use my car's buttons to go to the next/previous song. BMW 3 (2015) here.

    same issue with my BMW 116 (2017) and my OnePlus 3 Oreo. the funny thing is that the skip function was the only thing that works on 4.7.1 and now everything works except that.

    BMW X5 2015 no connection to OnePlus 5T 128GB...really disappointed.No music in the car is the dealbreaker.
