the new oneplus 8t already looks very promising Unfortunately, the surprise effect is lost with oneplus smartphones, since almost everything is known before the event begins.

I wonder why one should still watch the event when everything is known? As a big fan I'll definitely check it out, but it would be nice not to reveal everything in the future.

Dear Team. I love this color glacial green but I doubt about its durability and endurance. Nothing to be harsh on but my phone is not even 60days and it started loosing color even when everytime I kept it in cover and close to my heart. I even visited care and asked for the solution and even had a talk with executive people and did everything but I never received a positive feedback and reason for me not purchasing black in color was this new color only but when it showed me it's max durability I am really upset but though I spent 55Grand I had to deal with it, with upset mind I had to keep with me.

#OnePlus team, I really made my savings to buy this color but when purchasing a premium phone and we ought to see these things, that really makes our blood go cold as phone is now a days much more precious and essential things one considers specially when they are tech lover.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about that sort of thing. No one will see the back once the phone is inside the case anyway. Tell me about the guts. I couldn't care less about the skin.

Too loose fit with a case will become a rubbing effect. Some dirt and debree will find its way in and the case and movements will start to rub and practically sand it down.
A harder tighter case if often better that way. I use dBrand Grip. Very tight fit. Needs some extra effort putting it on. And it's harder to take of. Less risk of rubbing the edges of your phone.
Orginal Sandstone cases and such should be OK too.

I would not say that because not all have a habit to put their phone under the skin but if within 60days can you say the skin would be affected??

I speak only for myself. I use MIL-SPEC cases on all my phones because my lifestyle demands that sort of protection. The cases are bulky and ugly, but necessary. Consequently, the phone's appearance really doesn't matter to me at all. What does matter is what's inside, not the makeup it's wearing.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "60 days" question. All I can say is that I'll care about the skin as little in 60 days as I do when I first unbox the phone, which will be not caring at all. It is completely irrelevant to me what it looks like.

Whereas the OnePlus executive told it's vice-versa i.e. if your case is too tight it would create friction while removing and that shall wear out the color.. though now I had laminated but yeah at starting it felt really hurtful seeing this.

Exactly those MIL cases are very good.. I do also have one by Ringke for Samsung S10 and it even protected from bumps and no single point scratch is there till yet even after 18months of use... Even the case is also durable..

And about skin color of OnePlus , actually it was earlier where skin looses it's color or patch occurs but since past 2-3 years companies started thinking about that and improved even but I don't know how that affected me. But yeah I took care I laminated the phone and that hid the patches

Softer materials have 2 sides... The softness can both be gentle and harmful. When it moves by itself it should not cause much harm. But add some dirt and debree and things starts to happen when it moves.
My case is very tight but soft inner sides. It creates a snugg fit and prevents dirt from entering the case. It does not flex unless using a lot of force. So no movements either. And yet the build is both soft where softness is needed and sturdy enough not to move a or slide off easilly. You might call it a hybrid case.
In my case this is a case I put on once. Then I remove it when I return the phone. So you are right there if you regulary take it on and off.... Use a softer one. But to protect it against the rubbing of dirt and debree by forces created in your pockets and such soft cases may not be the optimal.

So it all depends on type of usage really.... Often take it off? Use softer material. Put it on and forget it? Hybrid case with better fit.
