No Incoming SMS or MMS on Verizon

    Same as RusOwner. I guess it says that regardless of whether device is working on the network or not.

    I called tech support and got the CDMA_LESS added to my sim card immediately. All my messages came through but I still cannot send messages. Anyone else have this problem?

    I've been able to send since the very beginning of putting my SIM in my OP6t. Just receiving texts has been the issue.

    I have spent 4 hours on the crap today and I think I have had enough of my walk to the wild side. Verizon was nice and did all they knew to do, I had no idea of all the people having this issue, I just got my phone today. I had oneplus support on chat and they blame it on Verizon and the sim card. I don't have time for this. I think one day in and back she goes...

    I called verizon and they have no idea what this "CDMA-less feature is and he called the network department and he didnt have a clue either

    I guess i got lucky with Verizon rep who knew what to do on his end...feel bad i forgot to grab his ID or straight phone number so you guys can call him all night long LOL

    So I just took my wife's sim and put it in my 6t. SAME symptoms. Her number could send texts but couldn't receive them. So this tells me it most likely has to be a feature that get enabled on Verizon's side for the imei of the device itself.

    So obviously something is not adding up here....

    Some people are saying this CDMA Less is working.... some say they need to wait 24-48 hours for it to kick in and others are saying verizon has no clue what CDMA less is.

    I have spoke with Verizon and my experience was that Verizon is not aware of what CDMA Less was and they could not help me.

    texts still aren't working over here, but at least now there is data (IMEI & Device ID) listed on the my Verizon site under "Devices". up until about 5-10 minutes ago it has been blank all day.

    Having the same problem, was told my account doesn't have the ability to get the CMDA_Less feature added...not sure why. They opened a ticket with their networking team and will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.

    I was told to get a new SIM...not sure how that will change anything since this SIM worked perfectly fine on my GS9+ when it came to texting.

    Also, for those of you who somehow have working text again, did you do anything?

    I just received my new OnePlus 6T and swapped my 4G Verizon SIM card over from my old phone to this phone. Everything appears to be working EXCEPT RECEIVING text messages. I have confirmed I can send them just fine but am not receiving any.

    I am currently on hold with Verizon tech support and am on my 4th person now and just mentioned the CMDA-Less option to them and they are currently looking into that.

    I will post with my updates from them...

    Most techs I spoke to tonight knew about the feature, but apparently it's not available to all plans, which doesn't make sense.

    They weren't able to add it to my line apparently.
