No "iphone-like" gestures

    Eden Mae , Feb 5, 2018 :
I just updated my oneplus 5t through settings (no root) and I was interested to try out that gesture feature that I keep hearing about on the reviews but for some reason my phone doesn't have it. I hide the nav buttons but when I swipe up the nav just shows itself and not go to the homescreen.

What's happening? Am i missing something?

if you like gesture controls consider using Nova launcher. you can confirm custom gestures. it's the best launcher in the Playstore. I've been using it for years. I've also seen it on sale many times and if also offers custom icon packs

if the gesture receives good results in the beta, it'll be brought to the stable versions.

The gestures are great and work really well. The only downside is that when you hide the navbar you then lose access to search assistant via the home button so you now need to open it via the app or by installing Nova launcher and setting one of the Nova gestures to open it, I use double tap the screen to open it.

Or download one of the many gesture apps in the play store like X Home Bar saving yourself $1000. You can then hide the navbar permanently with a few adb commands.
