Finally!!! I am happy to say I will not be longer be waiting on T-Mobile for my updates from OnePlus!

I just loaded the OnePlus version of Oxygen OS on my T-Mobile OnePlus 6T!

You have to have the following done in order to do what I did.

    1. Pay off your OnePlus 6T from T-Mobile
    2. Ask T-Mobile to carrier unlock your OnePlus 6T
    3. Request a bootloader unlock token from OnePlus
    4. Unlock your bootloader
    5. Flash latest build from OnePlus

    Unlocking Instructions here:

    https://support.oneplus.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/588/~/how-to-unlock-bootloader-for-oneplus-6t-(t-mobile-version)

Files I used to load the latest ROM from OnePlus:

    https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410932744536996577

Unzip the file, then unzip images.zip and Other_Flashall.zip, once all is unzipped in the same directory, put your phone in fastboot mode and run the flash all fastboot bat file and let it run. Reboot and you are all set.

Here is my awesome about phone!

You're saying I don't have to buy another device to get the updates earlier? I just have to download another OS?

I paid my T-Mobile device in full at the launch event. So all I need is basically the unlock token. How do I ask?

I requested an unlocked device when purchasing. Afterwards when I got home first thing I did was press the unlock app and permanently unlocked the phone to use for AT&T.

although I still have the T-Mobile boot screen now I need to get rid of it I make it an actual OnePlus unlocked phone.

Do I still need the token?

Ok I'm on the FastBoot mode. Is it serial number the unlock token?

Edit: I'm not sure what after being on FastBoot Mode. Do I need to do something on PC besides typing unlock token?

Can't screenshot mine at the moment since I'm in a FastBoot Mode. I'll just type it in what I did:

Advanced -> Reboot to fastboot -> Are you sure reboot to fastboot -> Reboot to fastboot

    START

Press volume key to select, and press power key to select

    FastBoot Mode
    PRODUCT_NAME -
    VARIANT -
    BOOTLOADER VERSION -
    BASEBAND VERSION -
    SERIAL NUMBER -
    SECURE BOOT - yes
    DEVICE STATE - locked

Now I needed to know where to look.

Plug your phone in with USB and run a CMD window and run the command on the page I said to follow and you'll get your token, you need adb and fastboot installed on your PC though.

He bricked it by flashing 9.0.4 , then flashing the 9.0.5 ota (not the full rom).
I'm under the impression you can go from 9.0.4 to 9.0.5 as long as you flash the entire 9.0.5 rom. (more reading is necessary for this though)

I have to type the two codes all together? I got the unlock code but failed after only entering one of them.
