It's been happening over and over again. I'm in oxygen is 10 stable OnePlus 7(Not Pro). Sometimes automatically my ringtones and Notification tones disappears. When it happens no Ringtones and Notification played when i am getting a call or Notification. Tell me what to do? Is it a system bug??

That's strange!! After restart, I've got back all the ringtones and notification sounds. I'm pretty sure that I've restarted my phone after update.

I have the same problem.. it happens again and again and then the phone needs to be restarted.
Is there a permanent solution to this problem?
    It gets very annoying.

Restarted my phone on multiple occasions. Still the issue persists. WhatsApp notifications are only thru vibration even when the phone is on RING. Weird update.

I've got the same problem, it's annoying to feel that I need to check in on the setting to know if I'll hear if someone is calling me or not. Please fix this!

I had the same problem but it got rectified after I restarted the phone. Even if you have rebooted after update, please restart once more.

Solution found. Open the Google Messages Menu and tap Settings.
    General
    Notifications
    Behavior, sounds & more
    Other notifications
    Advanced
    Sound
From there you will probably see that it is set to Ringtone from internal storage and that below it, it says No ringtone selected. Just choose your favorite ringtone from the list and close it.
The other solution is to go into every one of your contacts and give them a ringtone. I really don't have the time for that so the above solution worked better for me 😎.

Issue happened first time for me after weeks of using 10.0.3 with OnePlus 7 Pro.
    Restart fixed it again.

Same problem here. I think, it comes up, after I changed to vibration mode and than back. Restarting solves the problem, but I don't think, that should be the ultimate solution :) (Oneplus 7 with Android 10)
