If it happened on a previous phone and now this one as well. Your issue is with the Sim card. Have you contacted the mobile network provider about issuing a new one.

Facing same issue, and I am sure, its not mother board. Customer service guy ask for mother board change as it is a ultimate solution to all problem. this is shame from one plus.

I have OP 6T and this issue started right after one of the updates, as the phone asked to reboot after an update. So, right after that update phone took 10-15 minutes to boot. Couple of days ago the was another Google Security Fix update, and that killed everything. No SIM cards, no wifi hardware... I tried fresh install, which stucks at - Wiping, Please wait. I tried to unbrick it, and I was able to reinstall official android, but still not wifi or mobile networking. they are just gone. - Does not like a hardware issue to me... ;-)

Hi, Could you please help us with what the local service guy repaired/changed on the motherboard (which IC). Also if you could share where you are located and the exact shop where you got it repaired from. Thanks in advance

I did. Tried 3 different firmwares including android 9 and 10. same issue. As far as I can see on this forum, most reports come from Indian customers. I am not from India, but I have an unlocked version. I hope OP will release firmware update to fix this "hardware" problem.

If that didn't fix it, then you may have a hardware issue, either bring it to an approved OnePlus service center or contact OnePlus directly, links are in another post further up the thread.

From last two days I am facing the continuous restart issue. After battery is dying out and charging again, it is working for few hours (though sim network and Wifi restarting ). Again after few hours same problem happening. I dont know why this issue is happening in the oneplus phones. It cannot be a hardware issue. Oneplus should immediately look after the problem.

I went through all the messages in this thread. As per everyone, Service center is asking to change the mother board. But why suddenly many oneplus phone users are facing the exact issue?

Not many an extremely small few. There were millions of 6Series phones sold. And if you add up what appears on here its a tiny fractional fraction.

And there is no way to know what may or may not have happened to the phone in the last 2 year's and more. What environment it was in, hot, cold, humid, dry climate, dusty atmosphere, dry atmosphere.

Dropped or not, Sat on, heat in the pocket. So many variables a few phones are bound to fail for many reasons. They are electronics and many things affect how they respond to use and their environment.

Hey, I have the same problem and it's been going on for a few weeks now.

The weird thing is that sometimes it works for long periods and sometimes it won't work the whole day.

did anyone manage to fix this?
