No system updates in settings Oneplus 7 pro via OnePlus 7 Pro T-Mobile

  1. QuartzWarrior , via OnePlus 7 Pro T-Mobile , May 12, 2021 :
I want to update my one plus 7 pro but cannot seem to find the system updates button. I have de-googled my device, removing this list I found on Reddit. Google Backup Transport Google One Time Init Google Partner Setup Google Pay Google Play Movies Google Play Music Google Play Services Google Play Store Google Services Framework Market Feedback Agent Maps Photos. And google egg and one more I forgot the name.

Try Oxygen Updater. What version are you on now?

The whole system update button seems to be missing in settings, have you seen this issue before?

Huh-uh, first time seeing this. Then again, it's a T-Mo device which I think lacks this section IIRC. Though, he did mention he "de-Googled" his phone which might have a hand in it, maybe?

Yes, I put the list of what was removed in the first post. I did not remove any Oneplus made apps though...

I'm not doing too bad. You're Incog, right? The lack of ghost-related avatar concerns me.

What version are you currently on? Actually, this does indeed answer my question: T-Mobile devices do not let you manually update, hence the lack of the menu option.

You can always unlock the device (if it's been paid off) and convert it to global OOS which grants you the ability to update manually if you really, really want to. It's a tedious process, however, just an FYI.
