That's the problem... I swore to myself that I would not pay $650 again for a smartphone, after I dropped my SG4 in the lake... But if a $350 phone doesn't have one of the features that I NEED most, then what am I really saving if I end up with a phone I can't use at home? I think I'm going to have to 'bite the bullet' and go ahead and spend another $650 for a TMo SG5 that will do what I need it to do...

Agreed. I helped my friend decide between Nexus 5 and LG G2. I really liked the pure Android experience, but couldn't stand the two biggest shortcomings of the Nexus 5: battery life and camera. The G2 takes cares of these issues (and is consistent with the Nexus 5 among all of its strengths), and I believe it has WIFI calling as well.

That's a shame, but that's a feature only available on t-mobile phones, at least I have never needed to use wifi calling since I get great coverage in my area.

Really? That's sad. I was hoping the Nexus 5 would have the WIFI calling if I purchased it from TMobile (it's $24 off right now BTW). But this breaks the deal for me and I'm going to have to lean towards the G2. I need a phone now and can't afford to wait for the OnePlus anymore :-(

If you still want a Nexus 5, it seems like it goes on sale once a month through Blutek @ eBay for $335 (16GB) or $385 (32GB), free shipping and no tax.

Currently sold out, but comes back once in a while.

I live in LA in the hills around Dodgers Stadium. Everything sucks up here. T-Mobile best by a little bit. Had a DirecTv service guy here and he couldn't get Verizon data on his special company phone. I had to set him up on my router so he could use my WIFI to connect. Sprint ok in the flats but everyone in the hills complain.

Don't know why people keep asking this. but any phone that does not have T-Mobile bloat will not have WiFi calling. No WiFi calling on the Nexus 4, 5, Moto X, or OnePLus One or any other unlocked phone.

Is it true that iphones from T-Mobile don't support WIFI calling? One of their reps told me that.

Your best bet may be to use Vonage. I use it frequently enough with little to no problem. It is your same number for outgoing calls. I'm not sure if you can route all incoming calls through your app, but there has to be some sort of hack out there for that if it isn't officially supported. Right?

It won't be exactly 350 but I have seen them in the low to mid 400's on swappa. You just have to watch the site
