Nord N200 5G bug list via OnePlus Community App

    I just got my Nord N200 5G from a T-Mobile store yesterday, and out of the box it has had many issues.
    First thing I noticed was when I downloaded an APK file through Google chrome using the default display scaling, I couldn't open the file using the prompt at the bottom of the screen in chrome because it was cut off. I had to change my display scaling for it to show properly.
    Second I noticed when I lose signal and gain signal back later, I have to toggle on and off airplane mode to get a data connection back (even though I am connected to LTE towers with good coverage). There is no "x" in the signal bar, I just don't get data.
    Some apps refuse to work over mobile data (maybe specifically over 5G)
    Also Bluetooth has a few bugs too. And no software updates yet because it's a new device.

    I suggest you to contact T-Mobile support and check with them the APN settings

    AR Core is NOT supported on the N200 right now.
    Currently, all the AR apps or functions does not work on the phone. I think this must be a bug. since the phone have good enough hardware to support it (also a depth sensor!!)

    -AR Core is showing not compatible in PlayStore

    Pay no mind to the OnePlus Community forum police. I just bought the N200 from Metro/T-Mobile and haven't had one bit of trouble.

    Could be location related software issue as well..Different updates for different regions also support different carriers.

    If you disable the oneplus gallery and set google photos as default, after you take and image and click the bottom left circle to view it, it will not open google photos to view it.

    The problem I has is my n200 will not let me use mic or camera on apps any apps. It pops up privacy alert blank app using camera or mic tap to change. I give it permission and it always blocks it. Cleared data and cache on apps that have the problem and did it on camera too. Also tried uninstalling them still no go. So, if can't get it fixed by by phone.

    just got my N200 and noticed camera will not read QR code and when I get a pop up msg click reply keyboard will not show up.

    It's so laggy. The device just sucks in general. I've had it lag so much between presses or screen flips then flips and flips and flips... I've had it not bring up keyboard when I press text box. I've had it open things then press a link and it opens something else then when you go back the previous app was closed for no reason and now it has to reload so attempting to sync two things is impossible b/c they keep getting closed... All in all I hate this phone. Definitely not worth money. Lol

    The N200 is a little quirky out of the box, one of the things you can do is to (of course) make sure your data is on and then go into your settings and RESET THE NETWORK on your ends. Then you can call Metro and get tech support and ask them to RESET THE NETWORK on their end for your specific phone. You can also go into your network and make sure it's set to AUTOMATIC/5G or set the actual network to what is available consistently to you most times. I.E 5G or 3G/4GLTE or down to 2G if you have to. Just a suggestion. Make sure all of your SECURITY and GOOGLE PLAY SYSTEM UPDATES are done too. The fixes for your issues come from there as well. Like WIFI updates or BLUETOOTH updates..etc .etc. It happened to me when I first got my N200 too.

    My Nord N200 has given me issues right out of the box. Main issue is losing signal for no reason. I can be anywhere and lose signal even though my husband sits next to me on his phone (same carrier/different phone) and has FULL 4GLTE. Aggravating to say the least. Also handset speaker only works when it wants to.

    I am having the same issues plus. My screen goes black for no apparent reason and when I try to open back up it just vibrates I have to reset it by pressing down on volume key plus pressing power button my text messages doesn't go through sometimes I have never had a bad experience like this with a phone ..... I think I'm never getting another OnePlus phone again after this experience I feel so short changed

    Oh yeah I'm having that msg issue too. I reply via notification shade and it just spins and spins and never sends. I just had codm lock up and rotate to a small box. Then even tho I was in the game it said my phone was locked with that pocket mode on. The phone is extremely buggy and extremely underpowered
    I tried to login with earny to sync with Amazon and I can't bc it keeps closing the app when I go back to finish the process... I hate this phone. Buying something else and keeping it as a back up in the event I need one. said:

    Oh and additionally looks like my phone never charged.. Or selectively charged? Was 30 now 50 after being plugged in all night lol

    Has anyone experienced any issues with screen cast besides me? I have a samsung smart tv and it lets me connect and you see my phone's home screen on the tv but when I start playing a video on one of my streaming apps all you see on the tv is a black screen but you can hear whatever is playing on the tv. I've reset the phone and the tv and unpaired them and reconnected them again and it still only plays a black screen and audio. Smh that's my only problem.

    Dear lord this phone is buggy. So much lag. So many hang ups and malfunctions.... Frustrating device. Will keep it as a back up but I'm done with this turd device.
