    L1532093569600, Feb 11, 2019 :
I HAVE DONE USB DEBUGGING ON & SET THE USB CONFIGURATION TO FILE TRANSFER IN DEVELOPER OPTIONS.
WHEN I CONNECT MY DEVICE TO LAPTOP IT IS NOT DETECTING AT MY LAPTOP,SO DRIVERS ARE ALSO NOT GETTING INSTALLED.
BEFORE UPDATE DRIVERS WERE AUTO INSTALLED WHEN I CONNECT THE DEVICE TO LAPTOP.

try unplugging the USB cable, reboot, plug the USB into a different USB port on the laptop, and reconnect to phone.

After you connect your OP to your laptop, check the notifications on the menu bar (you need to scroll down, there is no icon on the top bar). There will be USB settings. Click on it and change the option to file transfer (MTP)

Download the OnePlus USB drivers and install them manually.
    Restart the laptop.
Plug in the phone and let Windows automatically install the drivers..
    Now it should work.

Is your phone connected to your pc?
If yes, then there is a problem with your usb cable or your usb port. The options are greyed all the time, till you connect your phone to a pc
