    Is Android auto fully updated?
    That could be one issue.
Or could be an improper setting if you Uninstall
then re-install and set it up again.
"Some cars can android auto over Bluetooth/wifi"
Some cars can have extra software you have to go through to enable so i have no idea but hopefully this might help a little bit.
Worse case draws to much power it disconnects from the port?
    Or port Damaged...

The app is built onto the phones OS so it won't show up in the app list.
But if you fully set it up and it's not functioning? You might want to wait for the next Android auto update 🤔 and try again. Sounds like something needs to be re-connected & set up.

I have same issue on my OnePlus 7T Pro. Apparently, it is an issue with OnePlus devices. My other phone, a Nokia 8.1 on Android10 works well with the same car and is rock solid. On official AA forums, it is also mentioned that it is OnePlus issue but there has been no fix so far, for the past 3 - 5 months. OnePlus support keeps asking for logs everytime you reach out to them for resolution. But even after providing logs in December, 2019, there has been no resolution. It is pathetic, really.

I have run into this with a few smart cars. Make sure bluetooth/location is on, sometimes they use bluetooth to setup the connection securely and it needs LOCATION on as well. Some even need NFC on for some weird reason.

what about getting a tutorial on YouTube to show this issue?
I have a Peugeot 2008 (2017) and my issue is that navigation is not showing up in car display only on my phone (7t).
