If you have the 90fps setting visible in BGMI it should work... Also, how do you know the fps count as there is no built in fps counter in BGMI?

I think if you enable the refresh rate counter in developer settings it shows the refresh rate set in phone settings?
At least my 7pro shows 90 all the time when I have it enabled.
have you set phone display settings to 90hz and 1080p?

No it's not in developer setting we can see fps in game while playing. There is one option in gaming mode monitor data. It will show fps, CPU and GPU.
Yes phone display is 90hz and it's not 1080. Mine is 1440.

I know they are similar games. Just wondering do you play Pubg specifically as well, and if so do you get 90fps in that game?

I enabled the ability to see the refresh rate (developer options) after experiencing a distinct downgrade in gameplay following the last update before

Presumably to solve your overheat issues, you've throttled game play. Thing is, I'm only running the one app. I have 8 gigabytes of RAM.

So...how in God's name did you mess this up so bad?

I bought the phone for the refresh rate, among other reasons. So....now that's gone, and watching the gpu struggling to keep up with JUST ONE APP OPEN, drives me a little nuts.

On the advertisement for the phone, it claims that any heat produced from charging stays in the brick. Well, NOT ANYMORE.

Seriously. You can basically go through the old adverts for this flagship and just say....nope. not anymore, to several of the claims.

    Extraordinarily great hardware.

Wow, oh my God, how have you fallen so far so fast, software support.

Seems like planned obsolescence to force people to buy new phones. They did the same thing with software "upgrades" to the OnePlus One. I can fry sn egg on that thing.
Essentially, it seems like making sure our batteries degrade as quickly as scientifically possible, is one of their main routes to profit.
Well, shame on me for trusting updates again.
Should have stayed on Android 10. Great battery life. Very few problems....ever.
Android 11 has become a near DAILY battle.
So, you know when you have a product that costs a lot of money and drives you nuts every day? Probably not, right?

I CAN'T WAIT to change this software to something that works.

Sadly, it is clearly the financial goal of the company to screw us all over in the hopes that the brain washed masses will keep their eyes glued to the sparkly advertisements, while ignoring that the company purposefully screws everyone over within two years of purchase.
