Not happy with the new update for Oneplus 3 Jan 20, 2017

    Even I am not able to add new contact, dailing list is not saving any conversation. It remains empty after making calls. So, after update this is what happend:

    All contacts lost.
    can't add new contact.
    No dailing history.
    battery draining like anything.

    regretting, having updated my OnePlus3.

    i updated today. everything is like before the update and that is good. screen on time about 4-5 hrs. no bugs for now. wi fi lte battery all good without problems

    I have the exact same issues! battery is draining faster than it can charge. I have no contacts and can't add any and the messenger app just crashes before it opens. Does anyone have a way to fix this? My phone is completely useless

    Since many users are getting this issue, this might be taken up by OP in the next release. This is what I am hoping. I wouldnt be able to confirm this since I am not a OP developer. I am only a user like most of the members here.

    But I would like to mention that I didnt have this issue in my mobile. I always installed with the full build file 1.4 GB and only had issue with Android Pay in TFL, which I think is resolved now. I am still testing the AP in TFL in 4.0.2

    Thanks kiran. Due to the merging of code base Oxygen OS and Hydrogen OS some bugs were bound to occur. But never thought this serious. Hope Oneplus fixes it soon.

    People who haven't updated should better way for 4.0.3 to be released.

    Me too not that happy... Lost all my contacts. I had to make a "hard" reset and cashe wipe that would solve the problem...NOT dear OP support. So i did a "big" wipe of my phone after back up my pictures and other data. I had to re-login with my Google acount, but forgot my pasword. So i also resetted and changed my Google pasword. Suddenly after entering e-mail and corect pasword my phone says, unable to proceed, its been blocked for 24 hours. So new update could be good but didn't have the change to test it. And now i'm phone-less for 24hours..grrr

    As far as the battery goes - mine was horrible and I could not find a way to fix it. Finally I did a factory reset and that fixed the issue.

    Go to settings and go to advanced and enable deep cleaning it improves your battery

    Okay. I stored my contact in SIM memory and I'm not able to recover from there also. Lagging too much. Tried all possible thing to restore contact but couldn't.

    Very disappointed with Nougat. :(

    Hello Kenneth. Could you post here whether the reset fixed the Contacts issue. I have the same issue but don't want to take it unless i am sure it will fix the issue. Thanks.
