I can send pictures but cannot receive them. Download option just says "can't receive MMS. some apps prevent" or something to that extent.

Likewise I'm using Verizon in the US and after I updated to 10.3.1 this broke my ability to receive group MMS and picture messages
If anyone know of a fix please share. Thanks!

So far, I'm getting multiple people telling me to send them some file thing and screenshot this and forward this to us from your drive. I've done all that and gotten no where. Waiting for another decent phone that's not $1k to come out so I can get that. Maybe Google Pixel 4a.

Seems this was sudden and has affected several people. I have. One+6 and haven't had trouble with texting until 2 days ago. Group messages are simply not coming in. pictures on individual messages aren't making it either. the message from the phone says "available for download" but when click for download, it just circles for. bit, as if trying, and then it just quits. messages are not downloading. OnePlus, please help!

I'm kinda impressed how long an issue like this has been allowed to persist. I started having the issue back around December, I believe. Had to switch from Android Messages to the stock OnePlus messaging app, which does work. Have tried other messaging apps with the same issue. Definitely don't see myself getting another OnePlus in the future

I'm having the same issue with my 6T on Verizon. The Verizon Message+ app is working, but I hate that app. Please let me know if there is a fix.

Guys this is definitely a Verizon issue. My friend has T-Mobile and I removed my SIM card and inserted his Sim card and Google Messenger works perfectly with no issues. I read online that if you go to Verizon and ask for a new Sim card this is a temporary fix until a new software update is applied then it stops working again however I haven't tried that.

After much testing this setting worked for me after a restart! Go to the phone dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* and click Phone Information and change the Set Preferred Network to the below in the screenshot. If yours is already set to this Preferred Network change it to something else as I have changed mine to many different ones until coming back to this one which was my original setting and let the system cycle through to identify the network settings and then change it back to the below. Lastly restart your phone and test as you should be able to now receive and send multimedia messages using the Google Messenger app! Good luck [e]1f44d[/e]
