When will the update be available? I had the same issue two times and the first one was after the next day of purchase. Since there is no data loss its ok for the time being. So can you please come up with an update soon... or should I go for a replacement of the product

Replacement of the device doesn't cure anything.
First verify if you have upgraded to OxygenOS 10.5.8.
As a precaution reboot the device in recovery mode and choose "wipe the cache" (not the datas of course).

I had already updated the device to the latest version. But still the same issue remains. Today morning I was facing the same problem and I went to the service center. They had the device checked and restored it to the previous version. The staff at the service center are saying not to update as it's not stable. So what should I do?

You are not talking to OnePlus Team only to simple users of the forum and nobody here has a crystal ball to help you !

As always Reboot and data loss for some and no data loss for others ... Well know since 3 months but not solved for some (or far more) with the latest OxygenOS 10.5.8 !

The staff at the service center is only paid to let you hear what you want to hear.
At the moment it's better to always have the last firmware because choose an older is a nonsense.
If the issue is software/firmware related (probability 70%) only solution is to wait ... If it's a hardware (+software) issue, the coming months will be difficult for OP because recalling so many devices is an insurmountable task for a small company 🤔
Meanwhile, it's fully recommended to backup all your device with OnePlus Switch app (provided in your Nord in the OP folder) and to copy your "opbackup" folder on a personal computer (Windows, iOS, Linux, etc ...) via USB-3 to USB-C cable or USB-C to USB-C. Long to do but very useful ! Because Google Sync is of course insufficient except for your contacts, some parameters and minor things such as your pictures (if you don't care about your privacy).
Anyway if you have no access to an ultra high speed WiFi network OnePlus Switch is the only way to backup tens of gigabytes ... Other free or paid ways from the play store are just a joke.

Well my suggestion would be make sure you Backup the device.

Head over to settings and Google and tap on Backup.

Make sure you first head over Google Photos and head to Photos settings and enable backup & Sync so you don't loose another cherished memory.

Also, similarly backup all doc's to Google Drive.

    Hope I've helped.

Its not a budget phone its a buggy phone with tint issues, incresed battery drain, poor camera quality and lacks of oneplus dialer, message, contact app. Dont consider oneplus nord. Wait for the oneplus nordN10. or you can buy oneplus 7 at this cost.

Today my one plus Nord automatically restarted. I don't know the reason but I fear next time it happens I might lose my data. Kindly look into this matter and fix it ASAP.

Settings app also not working properly, not able to search for settinds in search bar. One more thing is parallel apps are accidentally getting removed, it's showing that parallel apps are not enabled but the app icon are not there.
Heats up even when not using and network problems are also there..
Please fix a these issues ASAP. It's really disturbing, as we have spent a lot of money for this!!!
