How do you deal with bank applications and VO-LTE (if you use it) issues on custom roms?

I might join you soon if can find a reliable way to counter all that

Lol, bi monthly security updates... Once every 6 months?
So, if I understand correctly, it's basically four months since the owners of One Plus 5 series devices received the problematic update to Android 10. Since then no security updates and no resolution for their problems, although the company has released one new device, an Oxygen OS upgrade is up and coming (but not for them) and a new device will be released in less than one month!!!

I confess that I will not be surprised if they conveniently forget that the OnePlus 5 series ever existed and... move on! But I will be surprised if they do resolve these issues and push current security updates for these devices

Same is happening with OnePlus 6/6T and 7 series, slowly but surely
If you've promised bi-monthly security updates, then deliver on them!
Seriously there has to be some governing body we can raise this issue to

The update lifecycle made in 2018 was based on the current time of 2 "flagship killers" per year, and not 4 "flagships" + 1 "overly hyped and expensive mid-ranger" per year

But that's what happened when the portfolio's ballooned, you gotta deliver on your promise.

Dont get me wrong, I still like OnePlus, in fact even the OP8P at its price is still the best price-per-performance device. But if this continues, OnePlus will just be reduced to the next Samsung that only updates its device for 2 years, but hey, at least the rooting and custom rom scene is still viable for OnePlus and not overly locked in, yet.

Security patch of April gng on till now and battery is draining very fast, calls are not getting disconnected immediately rather than it takes some time. Fix the issue ASAP.

Kinda unbelievable you guys still bother to start fixing the old stuff on "highest priority", especially when you guys already rushing for the OxygenOS 11 along with the launch of the 8T..

Why some of you here expect to get a poor copy of OneUI installed on your phone as a token of apology from oneplus?

I can already see that their plan is to push back the update to the end of support so it will be last update after that they will not care anymore about the 5/5t series

As i said Samsung slowly becoming better option than oneplus because Samsung devices after few months get price reduction and can be bought cheaper than OnePlus device that is sold for full price after 5 months
Another plus for Samsung now is better software support to their flagships
