I didn't knew much about the update. I am not a OnePlus 5 series user. I was just curious to know how come OnePlus is giving updates even after update cycle was over

This is what we were expecting, we all can wait, but we were expecting a word from devlopers that the build is delayed due to whatever the reason is, We expect this to come once the issue is resolved, just keep the users updated, as we feel like we are being ignored only because our device is attaining its EOL. Thankyou for the update..🙂

Oxygen Os 11 instead of the apology will be really appreciated!
We humbly request you to please keep this delay in mind and provide an additional iteration of the Oxygen Os to the said users.

We can wait as long as we are assured that the team is working on fixing the BUGS, please let it be as aa BUG free as possible(considering it as last major update for the 5 and 5t series), as we are using a built which is half cooked and should not be out of beta testing. Hope to see a built soon, as we are almost close to our 3 years EOL period. Thankyou for your acknowledgement..🙂🙂

    This news tells me nothing...
It's been 4 months since the last update.
I'm seeing new devices getting updates almost every 2 weeks .that's why we ain't getting new updated ,the devs team are more worried with Nords, 8,7 ,and 6 devices ,then the 5T....
If the team can release updates weekly for those devices why haven't they found the "bugs" and release a new update for the 5T.. like it said before Never Settle is so useless in this case ...

    Hello @Gary C.

Do you expect the 5/5T users (with the experience that they got from past 3.5 months amid a global pandemic ) would stick with OnePlus when they buy their next phone?

For the price we spent 3 years back for OP 5 , now we can buy an Apple or a Pixel phone which provides a better user experience and support

It would have not been a problem if you didn't push OOS 10.0.0 to public in May 2020. It broke many basic functionalities of the phone for many users and there is no proper fix yet for so long.

Atleast now restart the Beta program for 5/5T and test it thoroughly before releasing the next update.

Atleast try to end the experience for many on a good note with OnePlus and hope ..just hope that this word of mouth publicity of the bad experience for 5/5T users won't affect your future potential buyers.
