They are wishful thinkers, who just wants something in return for the uncertain delay they went through deep inside thay do know that it's not gonna happen but what's the harm in asking, TBH Android 9 was much much better than this s#itfest, it's barely usable, I don't want 11 from them, I just want them to squash all these pesky bugs nd make current build usable and stable.

    S10 lite has Snapdragon.
    Samsung also has better service.
I called the service centre to have my battery replaced and they are saying it will take a month to change them.
This is what I get for buying phones from a fraud company

    But they promised security updates.
    Even that's not there.
Also they announced 3 years of updates to get more consumers.

Shame a stable build is taking so long, but it is what it is. Waiting isn't an issue, as long it arrives, in a reasonable time 😃

It would be wishful thinking if OnePlus to give us Android 11 on these devices 🤭, but we are coming up to 3 years soon on the 5T. Personally I think all phones should be support for 4/5 years, as most phones 4/5 years in still work fine and no reason to upgrade other than needing a newer Android Version.
Really hoping Project Mainline becomes the solution to updating OnePlus devices long term at somepoint 😃

Ya, S10 lite vs. OP8 ? Which one is VFM?

I don't know about Customer care service, because using first OP device from past 2 months only.

But i love OXYGEN OS, regular updates, good Community Support, and VFM products.

I also got BULLET WIRELESS Z, and charged only once in one month. With daily usage.

Agree. They can barely keep up with 1 update every 2 months.
I also waited a month to change my 5T battery. I sent it on the 28-29th of February when all the pandemic thing started and received it in late March because they couldn't get batteries.

Android 8(Oreo) was released on August 21 2017. OnePlus 5T went on sale in India on November 21 2017 and it came with Android 7.1 based OOS 4.7.0 out of the box.

Don't you think with 3 months time b/w the Android 8(Oreo) launch and phone release , OnePlus could have launched 5T with Android 8(Oreo) out of the box. But they didn't .

If they had done then effectively Android 10 would have been only a 2nd major upgrade to 5T.

Yes people asking for Android 11 are wishful thinkers.

But I would call OnePlus who pushed a buggy Android 10 update(which was officially promised by OP) to many and made their phones useless as "Thankless Reneggers"

I hope atleast now they keep their word and fix these bugs in Android 10 and help

Whatever you bring , update should be bug free as after some time the phone will reach to its end cycle and i am looking one more or 1.5 more years with this phone because its still smooth .. I don't have any problems with Android 10 neither this phone , phone is running very smooth but call recording feature is completely useless after update.
I trust this brand to be honest it was best experience with 5T
and will surely buy a one plus again in future
    Thanks for notifying us.

Okay then don't provide android 10 to OnePlus 5, how would that be?
The year after that, oneplus 6 was released with Android 8.1 and oneplus 6t with 9. They'll both get android 11. It would be very unfair if the 6t gets android 12 just for the sake of 3 updates that were never promised (and it wouldn't be after at least 3 years since release)

Oneplus should only give more updates related to Android 10 as giving Android 11 would be completely unfair to previous device owners.
