    Hey guys,

so the only thing Im missing on my OP7 Pro is the notification LED.

Are there apps, that let me customize the standard blue notification edge light?
For example where I can make that blue light for Whatsapp green and have it flash every x seconds. Just like a LED would do?

    Thanks in advance.

Hopefully that'll be done by OnePlus itself in coming updates. Reasonably high demand, as per their track record, OnePlus usually does something for their customers. Stay fingers crossed!
As of now, third party apps, I'm not sure.. Sorry

I have installed this app but I see it appears among the app that consumes the most energy of the battery. And Tenho set so that the brightness is at a minimum and that it only comes on when I receive a notification.
How is it going to you in battery consumption?
    Best Best regards.

But what about the battery drain? I have the OnePlus 6, so I don't need any notification led app. However, this app is great for AoD feature. So how much battery do you lose?

Honestly I can't tell any difference.
I'm not the kind of person that watches all that shite.
I will tell you that I go 90% of the day with regular use without having to charge it.

Are you using the Glance feature where the screen comes on only when there is a notification? Or are you using it as proper always on display?

I have it set to always on.
Edge light notification for 30 sec.
I've set the brightness to around 20 or so.
    Battery remaining icon on.
    Battery charging on.
And double tap to wake or sleep.

If you have it always on, then how would you set double tap to wake? The screen is on all the time.

I mean when I double tap on the AOD screen I get immediately brought to my fingerprint lockscreen.

Are you a light user or a moderate one?

And how much battery do you have left after say 12 hours ( a whole day basically)?

Ok. Got it. I too had that set. I love the app, purchased it too. But unsure about the battery drain trade-off.

One big problem with the app while using the 6 is that the Notification LED doesn't work with the app enabled.

    I'm moderate to heavy.
    From 5:30 am I'm good till 4pm.
Some days I might have to give it a charge around 2pm.
Been like that since day 1 with this device.

I think you are getting losing less battery because of the SD 855 SOC.
However, I wouldn't mind a 10 - 11 hour battery life if I get that with AoD on.

Actually, I didn't tinker with it at all. I am trying to figure out if I can have the AoD on all the time and still get 12 hours or so. That would be fine by me.

Let me check about the edge thing and get back to you.

But aren't you worried about the edge lighting harming the display and also affecting battery life?

    Harming the display?
You mean as far as screen burn?
If so, I wouldn't want the edge notification to constantly going off. But say to cycle. 15 seconds on. 30 seconds off. Then repeat.
I'm truly not worried about battery life. I have chargers at each place I'm at throughout the day if need be.
