So if you think they're going to make another notification method...you are living in wonder land. I already have exactly what you want and the best way to get it. If looking for waterproof get s20fe. S20fe cheaper with option to add sd card. Storage on 8t 128gb on cheaper version only. And choice of colours if important are better on s20fe. If I can revert my decision, I will go now for s20fe instead 8t. But is to late. Also s20fe are better for connecting other dieveces not produced by Samsung, via Bluetooth. 8t constantly disconnecting my Huawei watch.

This is crazy that we users have to buy external apps give them access to screen and mssg. Manufacturer can do this function maybe in 15 days as a OS part. If I read article that manufacturer have to analyse battery usage so my question is why 1+ doing full screen animated background not few blinking pixels?

I want this kind of app from phone manufacturer with his responsibility for data protection and perfection not third party apps which wants access to screen etc. Now I have to use similar apps. But why 1+ not developed software led since 3t model era.I don't know. If they want to save 1usd on led ok but from savings they can pay for 15_30 days of work time guys who write calculator app and add software led.

Amatory , via OnePlus 8T , Nov 28, 2020 : aodNotify works perfectly. But will use 20% of your battery in a day. I just have in on a certain times. Good app though. Another option is have a repeating audio notification until you read your message.
