Same problem here for OnePlus 9, its really confusing and need to be fixed. When you have 4-5 messengers and use them every day it looks like total mess...

I'm having a notification problem as well, but it's different. I no longer see notifications on my lock screen, despite not having changed the settings at all, after the update. Now I have to actually unlock my phone to see if I have a text, or calendar notification at all, not just to see the contents.

Also, I had it set to sleep / lock after double tapping the home button, but it no longer does this, and I can't find the option to re-enable. Was this functionality removed?

This entire update is borked, is there a way to revert?

Thank you, @Aaron2017 I may do that. I would love to figure out if these are just bugs that will be fixed, and if these features have indeed been removed, or if maybe they're just somewhere else and I can't find them?

Do you know if the ability to assign functions (like double tap home to turn off screen) still exists somewhere else?

Also, another thing that is new since the update is that media apps close / time out almost instantly. I listen to podcasts and audio books, and I used to be able to just drag down the drawer and swipe through to access the podcasts or audible, but now if I am not actively listening to something, they disappear and I have to re-open the app. Is this a bug?

Double tap to lock the phone is still there, long press on an empty space on the home screen>swipe to the right until you see "more" and click on that>double tap to lock.
Or are you referring to the functions you could assign to the navigation buttons?
I don't listen to podcasts, but if i have the media player in the notification panel until i swipe it away or close the music app itself so that would be a bug yes. One thing to check is, when they media player is in the quick settings panel, to drag the notification panel all the way down>gently swipe right on the media player>tap the gear icon and check if the first setting is enabled. That should keep the player there if it is enabled

Having the same issue, all notification are black and white. Just the title and the icon itself, the tekst if it has colour shows it!
