On all my previous Android phones I always had a notification volume but on the OP7 Pro you only have ringtone, media and alarm.

How do you adjust notification volume?

The notification volume is the same as your ring volume itself that is, lower ring vol means lower notification vol and vice versa. It's no longer given as a seperate option.

You probably had a Samsung before, right? Because that's actually how Android handles volumes.

Samsung is the only manufacturer that does this (I think, LG, too? correct me pls.)

Well, great to hear, but you know what's not great?

I always read people enjoying the 7 Pro, and I'm using a 6T, which makes the decision to buy a 7T much much more likely, and I don't want to spend money every year to "upgrade" lol

Either way, I don't think you can manage notification volume externally at all, not even with root, as I'm rooted and haven't seen this yet, maybe with Xposed though.

I will say that this will be my phone for many many moons... lol I cannot afford to upgrade year after year.

If you are rooted with Magisk, install the RICE ROM and it will enable you to set notification and ringtone volumes separately as they should be

Stock android doesn't have this, I wish it would get it. I have been Motorola and Nexus, now Oneplus - the only thing samsung has that i miss - i had a couple of samsungs, not bad, but the colors and icons hurt my eyes.
